Importing and Setting Up Checkerboard GCPs
Import Images and Adjust Bundle
Begin by importing images and completing the bundle adjustment.Setting GCP Orientation
Click on the “Orientate with GCP” option, locate the file containing your GCP coordinates, and select “Import.” Set the target type to “checkerboard.”Checkerboard Dimensions
Input the size of your checkerboard targets (e.g., 33 cm by 33 cm), then proceed to the target locating module.
Locating and Adjusting Checkerboard Targets
Once in the target locating module:
- Mark the target centers manually, selecting as precisely as possible.
- When three targets are identified, the software estimates the remaining GCP locations.
- For fine-tuning, use the micro-adjustment feature, similar to circle targets.
Finalizing Accuracy
The detection algorithm in version 2.16 may require reactivation for accuracy. Click “Next” to view the final accuracy results. Your project is now oriented using checkerboard GCPs!
Thank you for following along, and see you in the next tutorial!
