With the launch of 3Dsurvey Cloud in version 2.18, accessing and managing your drone mapping projects has never been easier. Directly integrate with 3Dsurvey desktop software or log in online to upload and manage your data, including point clouds, meshes, orthophotos, and CAD data. Also, simplify project comparisons with intuitive naming and advanced viewing options for a comprehensive project overview.
Share your projects effortlessly without any external file-sharing services. With 3Dsurvey Cloud, simply share a link, and your clients can access detailed views and analyses without needing specialized software.
Offer the Cloud Viewer to the clients and equip them with tools for detailed examination, measurements, annotations and even comparison of different project phases.
Please note that you need to have subscription&support active in order to use this feature.
To ensure full transparency and reproducibility, 3Dsurvey software's reporting feature provides an in-depth record of your mapping project from start to finish. It captures every detail, from the import and processing of images complete with metadata, to the precise geo-referencing and camera positions that inform the flight path characteristics. The reports analyse the accuracy of your photogrammetric outputs and detail the integration of Ground Control Points for enhanced precision. They also include thorough documentation of orthophotos and Digital Surface Models and volume calculations, along with the processing parameters used. An error summary helps you address any issues, making this reporting tool indispensable for maintaining the highest standards in project documentation and stakeholder communication.
Import and Processing Data - includes all the images that were imported into the software and processed (metadata associated with each image, such as the timestamp, location, and camera settings).
Geo-referencing Information - geo-referencing process aligns the images with real-world coordinates, often using ground control points.
Camera Positions and Flight Characteristics - insights into the drone's flight path and the positions from which each photo was taken, including drone’s trajectory, speed, altitude, relevant flight patterns.
Calculated Accuracy - includes the precision of the 3D models and maps created, based on the quality of the image data and the effectiveness of the geo-referencing.
GCP Positions - documents the precise locations of ground control points and assesses how well the GCPs have been integrated into the model and their impact on the overall accuracy.
Orthophotos and DSMs - information on the orthophotos (geometrically corrected aerial photos) and digital surface models generated by the software; also details the parameters and methods used to create these products, as well as any post-processing steps that were applied.
Processing Parameters - settings and parameters chosen during the data processing phase, providing transparency, and allowing for the replication of the project in the future or troubleshooting if necessary.
Error Summary - summary of any errors or anomalies detected during processing. This can help in understanding potential issues and in taking corrective action for current or future projects.
