What’s New in 3Dsurvey 4.2
- Faster Bundle Adjustment: Process large image datasets dramatically faster, with improved robustness and fewer unregistered images.
- New CAD features
- 3 Point Arc: Create true 3D arcs in just three clicks instead of approximating curves with multiple straight segments.
- Join/Break/Explode: Essential CAD editing directly inside 3Dsurvey, reducing the need to switch to separate CAD software.
- Snapshot/Backup: Automatically protect CAD work and easily recover previous versions without relying on manual saves.
- 3D mesh calculation for SLAM, airborne LiDAR and TLS point clouds (Scan Module): Combine exterior photogrammetry with interior SLAM or terrestrial scanning into one complete, aligned 3D mesh.
- Pinhole camera support (Scan Module): Broader camera compatibility, allowing more camera systems and datasets to be processed directly.
- New Cloud Viewer features and improvements: Share point clouds together with aligned spherical imagery, giving clients a richer and more intuitive view of the surveyed environment.
