3Dsurvey Cloud – Navigation and basic presentation

Navigating Your 3Dsurvey Cloud Environment

Overview of Your Projects and Storage Space

The 3Dsurvey Cloud home screen displays all your projects, with a top bar showing your remaining storage space. Different views are available to manage your projects: a map view for location-based navigation and a timeline view that sorts projects by recording date.

Accessing and Viewing Survey Data

Click on any project to open its last recorded survey, where data like orthophotos is displayed. If a project includes multiple surveys, select another from the top menu to load it, with the point cloud appearing by default. You can also switch between data layers, like the point cloud and mesh, for deeper inspection or simple CAD adjustments.

Editing Surveys and Adding Files

Access the survey edit page by clicking the cogwheel icon. To add files, choose a file type and upload it directly. The page also allows survey deletion, though you can easily return to the viewing mode for continued work.

Comparing Surveys Side-by-Side

For comparative analysis, open the side-by-side comparison window, where the latest survey appears on the left and an earlier one on the right. Switching to 2D allows for precise orthophoto comparisons, highlighting any differences in quality and detail.

Sharing Projects with Clients

To share your project, select the option for anyone with a link to view and copy the link. Share it with clients or team members for easy access to your project’s data and insights.
