The Global Hub of Geospatial Innovation and Reality Capture
From October 7–9, 2025, Frankfurt became the center of the global geospatial community. More than 18,500 visitors from 119 countries, 530 exhibitors, and over 1,200 participants at the INTERGEO CONFERENCE demonstrated that our industry is not only growing but also coming closer together – shaping the future and driving technologies, data, and ideas forward. INTERGEO proved once again to be far more than a trade fair; it is a platform, a network, and a catalyst for innovation.
Emerging Trends and Technologies
This year’s conference highlighted the key trends shaping geospatial workflows. From Geo-AI and digital twins to Earth observation and reality capture, the focus was on technologies that enable new ways of working and deeper insights:
Artificial Intelligence is emerging as a powerful enabler for more efficient workflows, automated processes, and precise analyses.
Data Sovereignty and Validation are gaining importance as the foundation for trustworthy geospatial applications.
Digital Twins are bridging real and virtual worlds, opening up new possibilities for resilient urban development and sustainable infrastructure planning.
Gaussian Splatting represents a next-generation approach to 3D data capture and visualization, enabling highly realistic real-time representations that could fundamentally transform how geospatial data is collected, processed, and applied.

INTERGEO 2025 brought innovation to life through hands-on experiences and interactive formats:
Earth Observation sessions demonstrated cutting-edge solutions, from wildfire detection to flood prevention.
Digital Twins and BIM highlighted optimized construction processes and resilient infrastructures.
Reality Capture, conceptually integrated for the first time, opened new horizons for 3D modeling and survey workflows.
New Formats such as the Application Dome, Main Stage, Real Estate Lab, and GeoCampus provided clear, practical insights into industry challenges and solutions.
3Dsurvey at INTERGEO Frankfurt
3Dsurvey made a strong impression at INTERGEO 2025. Our large LED screen with an impactful video drew significant attention, effectively showcasing our capabilities in 3D scanning and reality capture. We engaged with numerous partners from Mexico, South Africa, Poland, Czechia, Türkiye, Germany, and more, as well as began establishing new potential collaborations and connecting with interested surveyors worldwide.
Additionally, our Product Manager delivered a Main Stage presentation on Indoor Scanning and Automatic Floor Plan Generation with 3Dsurvey, highlighting our innovative solutions for precise and efficient surveying workflows. The event reinforced 3Dsurvey’s position as a key player in the evolving geospatial landscape.
