Start – Computer settings

Welcome to 3Dsurvey tutorials.

There are a couple of computer settings that need to be checked / changed in order to optimize computer and graphics card performance before we start working with 3Dsurvey.

Two things need our attention.

1. Select your power plan: Go to Power options -> Power plan -> select High performance
2. Customize your graphics card 3D settings: Go to your Graphics card control panel -> Manage 3D settings -> click Program settings tab. 

Add 3Dsurvey to the list and assign the preferred graphics processor: Click Add -> Browse -> open Program files -> 3Dsurvey -> open 3Dsurvey.exe file. Then select High-performance processor option from the drop-down menu and click Apply.
